The local fishing season for the lakes is March to October and a Fishing Permit, Boat Hire and packed Lunch can all be organised for you by our Reservations Team at Arnolds.
There are also a number of rivers and estuaries, and given the right conditions, these can be very rewarding for Salmon and Sea Trout. The deep-sea fisherman is also catered for with some of the best deep-sea fishing in Northern Europe. We can arrange special inclusive packages for groups of anglers who wish to stay at Arnolds Hotel. There is also a 10% Discount available to residents for Fishing Permits on Dunfanaghy Angling Association Lakes - The New Lake, Purt Lake and Sessiagh Lake which are regularly stocked and baliffed. Fishing is free to residents on Purt Lake.
